This model can be used for determining the quality of colostrum to protect and nurture the health of your livestock and newborn calves! The ideal colostrum (first milk) Brix level is 20% and above.It measures the Brix value of colostrum, which has a correlation with the immunoglobulin (IgG) value contained in colostrum. If the Brix value of the colostrum is over 20%, you can safely assume it is high-quality colostrum.
